Primo 2 passed the third assessment procedure for compliance of EU eco-label

19 January 2017, at the gala evening "Year of the Environment in 2016. Environmentally friendly company of the year 2016»  Marko Pomerants, Estonian Minister of the Environment,  handed over an European Union's Eco-label certificate for paint Primo 2, to AS Eskaro.

Primo 2 is the first product in Estonia awarded the EU eco-label in 2008, and in 2016 it passed the third assessment procedure for compliance with more stringent criteria.

The eco-label is considered to be the strictest environmental label. Labels for products and services are assigned on a voluntary basis by independent assessment agency.

Eco-labeling indicates that labelled products are environmentally more friendly relative to unlabelled products in the same product category.

By using paint with eco-label, consumer uses the products that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw material through to production, use and disposal. Eco-labeling is implemented to identify environmentally friendly products of high quality.
